Um Laufmaschen oder Löcher zu verhindern, empfiehlt Zimmerli, die Teile in einem Wäschesäckchen in die Maschine zu geben. 5-8% Einsprung nach dem ersten Waschen sind einkalkuliert. Nach jedem Waschen gewinnt das Richelieu seine volle Elastizität zurück.

What does Richelieu stand for? A pure, natural product with sensational elasticity of 200%. Incomparable light and fl uffy wearing comfort. Richelieu’s secret lies not only in the noble material made of fi ne twisted, mercerised cotton yarn but also in the handicraft used to produce it. Every article is fi nished by hand, making each piece unique. As a natural product, cotton reacts spontaneously to humidity. Depending on the weather, the articles can elongate or shrink slightly. To prevent laddering or hole formation, Zimmerli recommends placing the articles in a washing bag in the machine. 5-8% shrinkage is calculated for the fi rst few washes. Thereafter, the Richelieu regains its full elasticity.
